Objective: Score more points than your opponents by placing letter tiles on the board to form words.
Gameplay:
- Each player starts with 7 tiles.
- The first player forms a word on the center star (★). This is a Double Word score square.
- Subsequent plays must connect to existing words on the board, like a crossword puzzle.
- You can play words horizontally (left to right) or vertically (downwards).
- After your turn, draw new tiles from the bag to replenish your rack to 7.
Scoring:
- Each letter has a point value. The total score for a word is the sum of the letter values.
- Premium Squares: These multiply the value of the letter or word placed on them.
- Double Letter (2L): Doubles the score of the letter on it.
- Triple Letter (3L): Triples the score of the letter on it.
- Double Word (2W): Doubles the score of the entire word.
- Triple Word (3W): Triples the score of the entire word.
- Premium square bonuses are only counted on the turn they are used.
Game End: The game ends when all tiles have been drawn and one player uses their last tile, or when no more plays are possible.
